HOLD ON TO JESUS

If the sailors had known that there would be a storm, they would not have ventured into the seas. If the people sleeping under the roof knew that it would cave in that night, they wouldn’t have slept there.

Friends, these are a few examples of what is happening these days. None of us can predict what is going to take place a second from now. Hence, when life seems unsecure how will you go ahead? How can we confidently plan ahead?

Here comes the happy news. Your creator who formed you has already determined your end. Your life is secure in His mighty hands. When life seems not the way you wish, hold on to Jesus, keep holding on and you will be surprised that you have not made a wrong decision.

Jesus has said that in the world we will face a lot of problems. There is nothing impossible for Jesus. At times, you may have to face the problems in your life all alone, no one may seem to share your burdens or speak comfort to you or help you financially, physically or mentally. The world may seem crushing down on your life. The ones whom you trusted may fail you. At all such circumstances do not leave your hold on Jesus. He understands our problems and worries. He is there for you at all times no matter what the situations are. When cumbered with a lot of problems take it to the Lord in prayer.

In the Bible, Philippians 4:6 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”  2 Corinthians 12:9 says “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness”.  He has foretold that His grace is sufficient enough to overcome all the worries and tensions in your life. As a child is relaxed when he has a strong person walking beside him, so when Jesus, the creator of the universe has promised to be with you, be confident and never  let the situations pull  you down. Reign victorious in all the situations since our God has conquered everything for us. So finally, relax dear friends and ‘Hold on’ to Jesus.
